The Indonesian Version of Sayles Internalized HIV Stigma Scale: Preliminary Test of Reliability

The needs for an Indonesian version of a tool to measure internalized HIV stigma are identified. This study aims evaluate the reliability Sayles Internalized Stigma Scale and correlation each subscale. A cross-sectional preliminary involving purposively sampled 20 persons infected with in Bali, Indonesia was conducted. internal consistency examined through Cronbach’s α item-total correlation. Meanwhile, subscale by using Spearman’s Rank coefficient. results showed 0.924 range from 0.151 0.837. Significant positive between overall scale were confirmed. These findings indicated acceptable possibility its use as alternative assess Indonesia.
